This Privacy Policy applies to the Modeve App, Modeve POS App, and related cloud services (collectively, the “Services”) operated by Modeve (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong (“PDPO”) and other applicable laws.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
A. Account & Profile Information (both apps)
- Name, email address, phone number, company name and job title
- Login credentials and account settings
B. Business & Operational Data
- Modeve App: Projects, tasks, team members, attendance records, clients/leads, contracts, invoices, expenses, tickets, chat messages, and related business records you choose to store.
- Modeve POS App: Sales transactions, product/inventory data, order history, customer purchase records (if you choose to store them), and related POS operational data.
C. Device & Usage Information (both apps)
- Device type, operating system, app version, unique device identifiers
- IP address, approximate location (based on IP), log data, and crash reports
- How you interact with the Services (features used, time spent, etc.)
D. Payment Information
- We do not store full payment card details. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g. YeahPay or other gateways). We only receive limited information necessary to confirm payment status and manage subscriptions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- Create and manage your account and subscriptions
- Process transactions and send related notifications
- Provide customer support and respond to enquiries
- Send important service-related communications (e.g. security alerts, updates)
- Monitor usage and improve performance, security, and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
We do not sell your personal data.
3. How We Share Information
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: Trusted third parties who help us operate the Services (e.g. cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics). They are only allowed to use the data for the services they provide to us.
- Within Your Organisation: Data you enter is accessible to authorised users within your company account according to the permissions you set.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (we will notify you if this occurs).
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. When you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

C. 裝置及使用資料（適用於兩個 App）
- 裝置類型、作業系統、App 版本、裝置識別碼
- IP 地址、大概位置（根據 IP）、日誌資料及當機報告
- 您與本服務的互動情況（使用功能、使用時間等）
D. 付款資料
- 我們不會儲存完整的付款卡資料。付款由第三方付款服務供應商（例如 YeahPay 或其他支付閘道）處理。我們僅收取確認付款狀態及管理訂閱所需的有限資料。
